LASSO was born from the shared frustration of two economic analysts, who spent years conducting complex regression analyses at the World Bank and IMF. Through their work on international development projects, they recognized a critical gap between sophisticated statistical tools and their practical application in economic research and other fields.
Drawing from their combined experience in policy research and quantitative analysis, they set out to create a solution that would streamline the econometric workflow. What began as a simple tool to accelerate their own research has evolved into LASSO - a comprehensive platform that's transforming how economists and researchers approach data analysis.
